11/16/2006 - €9.5 MILLION SALE AT NORTHWEST BUSINESS PARK
Noyeks Newmans have purchased a new 7,886 sq. m. high bay Central Distribution unit in Northwest Business Park (Phase 3), Ballycoolin representing the largest transaction in the business park to date. The sale believed to be in the region of €9.5 million was agreed in early 2006. The facility, which is due for completion shortly, is being constructed by European Design & Construction.

The facility will underpin the planned expansion of Noyeks Newmans business which operates in the wholesale and retail distribution of kitchen doors, worktops, carcasses and fittings, timber flooring, decking, doors, specialist sheet material and panel products.

The company currently operates from three branches, Ballymount Cross Industrial Esate (4,180 sq. m.), North Road, Finglas (6,410 sq. m.), Tralee, Co. Kerry (1,858 sq. m.) and a retail showroom in Ennis, Co. Clare (465 sq. m.).

As a result of the acquisition of the Ballycoolin facility, the company will be letting 1,858 sq. m. at Ballymount and 2,508 sq. m. at North Road, Finglas.

Part of the overall expansion of the company, which this new Central Distribution unit will facilitate, is increased regional penetration with state of the art showrooms around the country. Noyeks Newmans have also acquired newly built premises in Kilkenny, Waterford, Ennis and Limerick. Further suitable locations are being actively sought.
