Jumbo Touchdown at Aerodrome Business Park!
Industrial Markets Largest Pre-Let in Years
Developer and contractor Clonmel Enterprises have just secured the largest pre-let in the industrial market in recent years at their development, Aerodrome Business Park just off the Naas Road (N7). Construction on the new detached warehouse and office facility of approximately 16,000 sq. m. on 3.14 ha / 7.75 acres has just commenced for Culina SHS (Ireland) Ltd. Completion is due in early 2010.
Culina SHS (Ireland) Ltd. is a new company which has been formed by SHS Group Ltd. and Culina Logistics Ltd.
Bill Harvey of William Harvey & Co., Industrial Property Specialists secured the pre-let on behalf of the developer Clonmel Enterprises. Bill Tuite of Jones Lang LaSalle acted on behalf of Culina SHS (Ireland) Ltd. in respect of the sourcing and acquisition of the facility.
The new self contained detached purpose built facility will have a clear internal height of 12 metres and loading access will be via 16 dock levellers and 2 grade loading doors.

Aerodrome Business Park is a new landscaped and managed 22 hectare (55 acres) development only 550 metres from the Rathcoole Interchange on the N7 (Naas Road), adjacent to Greenogue Business Park.
The Park affords excellent access to the national roads network. Dublin's orbital motorway (the M50) linking the North, South and West of the City is within 10 minutes drive time. The Outer Ring Road, accessed via the Kingswood Interchange on the N7 now links the Naas Road (N7) with the Lucan by-pass (N4) and the Tallaght by-pass (N81).
Occupiers include Catering Disposables, Fannin Healthcare, ECI JCB, Broderick Grass Machinery, Power Home Products and Oriental Emporium.
Layout drawings are being prepared by the developer for a large cross docking distribution centre on an identical sized site adjacent to the new Culina SHS (Ireland) Ltd. facility.
